Ok so I have and use cloth diapers.  But my daughter is a heavy wetter during the night (nap too) and they do not keep her dry.  I am sick of washing bedding.

She stays dry all day without a hitch and wears underwear.  But when she sleeps she’s just a heavy sleeper, and doesn’t wake up.  Has anyone found a cloth night time diaper/training pants that works well with these type of children?  I really can’t afford to buy disposables all the time.  Also, I will have one more down the road to use them on so it really would be cheaper to by say 3 or 4 cloth night time training pants now.

    Thanks

I didn’t use any special night time diapers.  I just added an extra pad into the regular ones.  We used fitted snap type diapers with a cover.  I took a couple of older diapers and cut off the tabs to just leave the main pad of the diaper and then put it inside a complete diaper.  There are all sorts of inserts for pocket diapers and other types that you can buy.  I’ve also put a kid to bed with two complete diapers on when I ran out of inserts.  I’ve heard others say that they got the cheap pre-folds and used those as a liner.  I guess it also depends on what type of diapers you have to start with.

Since she is daytime trained, you can also try taking her to the bathroom just before you go to bed.

    Good luck
