New vs old guides

    Is there somewhere where we can still view the booklists for the old history guides? I love your book suggestions:)

    If you check the link under the Links & Tips tab on each guide’s product page, you’ll find a list of alternate or supplemental titles. Those are the titles that were removed from the second editions, either to lighten the load for younger students or because the title was difficult to find.

    You can also find lists of books for each subject through the link to the Old SCM Curriculum Guide that is near the bottom of the page for the new curriculum guide.  It was my life raft when I was trying not to panic over the change to the new guide, back in the day.

    Some people just don’t handle changes very well.  I nearly stopped eating when the folks at Hormel decided to package SPAM in single-serve pouches….
