NEW to Genesis through Deuteronomy & Ancient Egypt

    Hi,

    I new to CM! We are going to start using Genesis through Deuteronomy & Ancient Egypt for History. Is there away to use this book without assigning the different grade levels. I want to use the whole book as a family.

    I forgot to mention I have 4 children and any time I can do a subject all together I do. Has anyone else used it this way?

    KJ, What are the ages of your children?

    I use it with 2 different levels. For me the main thing I do is the family section then I read the older books aloud to everyone during reading time, or just in the afternoons. But like I said mine are just in the 1st 2 levels so that might just be easier?

    If you have the guide you will see that it is very easy to put everyone together. I do think it is important to have the older ones do the other readings either aloud or on their own. Mine are ages 14, 10, 9, and 6 that I am using the guide.
