New Features on Organizer

    We’re excited to announce two new features added to the Organizer today:

    1. You can now add your own methods. When you schedule a resource, you’ll see a new option in the Method pull-down menu that will allow you to create your own instructions.

    2. You can now add multiple divisions to a personal resource automatically. When you are adding a resource of your own, you can type in how many divisions you want for that resource and it will pop them in automatically with division numbers.

    Give both features a try and let us know what you think!

    OH THANK YOU SCM CREW!!!! You just cut my planning time in half by not making me enter in 100 lessons on a personal resource!! THANK YOU!!! 😀

    I put this in my one post also, but incase you don’t see it.

    I went to add another item. entered chapter, and then there is the 1 in the box and next to the box (go). But I tried to hit go and nothing happens what am I doing wrong?

    I was trying to find a place to post wishes the other night and got sidetracked—-but the ability to add a custom method made me think of it again—

    WISH:

    The ability to add a custom subject. I know it might sound a little silly, but I’d really like to be able to separate out World History and American History as we are going to work through them side by side (and eventually to add in state history for a short bit) for example….or to separate out Natural History readings from science that might be more experiment driven….or even to be more specific about naming individual science disciplines.

    Anyway, just wanted to mention this while I was thinking about it. (I apologize if I should add the wish somewhere separately.)

    The custom method is AWESOME!! (And the auto divisions too.)

    Misty, if you want the organizer to automatically make let’s say 16 divisions, you put in “16” and then press “go”. It will make 16 divisions and then you can go back and add chapter/lesson titles (or not). Does that make sense? Hope that helps. (I haven’t seen your other post….you may have already received an answer there…..) 🙂

    Misty – I’m having the same problem when I press go to separate out the divisions – it says at the bottom of my screen that there’s an error. Looking forward to a reply.
