New Feature Request for CM Organizer

    I would love the ability to “Save As”. This would help when putting in resources whose divisions are similar. For example, I use a math facts program called Rapid Recall and have 4 resources – add, sub, mult, div.

    My division type is “Tracks” and the divisions are

    • 1 – Day 1

    • 1 – Day 2

    • 1 – Day 3

    • 1 – Day 4

    • 1 – Day 5

    • 2 – Day 1…..

    This would help with math programs whose programs are set up the same year after year.

    We just happen to already have that feature in the pipeline. Smile You’ll be able to copy any existing resource into a new one that you can edit as your own.

    Hey Doug – I’m sure I’ve mentioned this before…

    When going through marking things off on the Daily plan, it isn’t always easy to see what I have and haven’t marked as done…  If I could maybe toggle on and off a highlighting of which resources haven’t been marked as worked on or finished for the day, it would help a lot! 

    My kids do things in whatever order they want, for the most part… and sometimes I mark things done a few times in the day… 

    So, for example… lets say my son gets Math done in the morning.  He had assigned Lesson 24 and gets it done.  It is lunch time, and while they are eating, I mark off what was done.  So I mark it as finished, and now Lesson 25 is showing.    That afternoon, he finishes more things off, and I go to mark it off.  At a quick glance, I see math…  now, did I mark that off or not???  What lesson did he do?  ok, lets have a close look at the tiny print of the previous assignment that is showing as done in that tiny print – what is the date it was done…. what is today’s date anyway?

    Of course, I could just mark things off at the end of the day…   and I could go to the reports screen and look at the daily report to see if I missed anything….   

    But – lets look at the new scenario…   Same thing – I marked off math at lunch time, and it is now later in the day, and I’m marking more things off.  I click on a new button to Toggle “Highlight resources not used today”…  and I glance.  Math is not highlighted, so I don’t have to think about it.  I notice that “Parables of Nature” is highlighted…. that’s fine, I decided we weren’t going to do that one.   I notice that “Violin practice” is also highlighted… hey wait, he did a practice – so I mark it as “Worked On” (because the division is for a month of practices.).  Boy, am I glad I caught that one!

    Just a thought….  because I know occasionally I miss marking things.
