I’ve signed up for the free trial and am entering all of our books for the year(yes, I intend to continue :~)-what a neat resource!) My question is-how do I enter our completed books? Being February, there is a good bit that we’ve done already-I’d like to have that work represented in the reports that I will generate at the end of the year.
I’ve entered quite a few books, but I just scheduled everything as though we are starting today-which is not really accurate. How do I schedule past assignments or do I just start from today and figure out all the prior work some other way?
I just entered in the previous stuff over a few days, and entered them as done on those few days… and put a note in with the report that the work done during that time period had been done earlier in the year.
If you know when you did stuff, you could enter the resources in with an earlier start date. Then when you go to mark things as done, click on the little arrow by the spot to mark it done – and you will see a week worth of circles. Then you can click on the little calendar icon, and put in the specific date.
Don’t forget about the ISBN numbers you can use for books that are not already in the bookfinder. There are wonderful features added all the time. Enjoy!
One more-we are skipping around in some of our books. How do I handle that? I’m using the MFW Guide and sometimes we will skip a section in the art curriculum and then go back and pick up that part later on. Any of you know how to work that in?
Never mind-I just saw the answer to this in another thread! I did try to rearrange the order of the chapters in our Story Starters book but when I click “save” it goes back to “1-67”. We are not doing these in that order…
I have recently found (sorry Doug – should have submitted a report) – that if you change the order of the divisions in a resource you have already scheduled previously… and click save – it doesn’t save the change. I found you have to click on one of the days you have it scheduled to make a change (then click it back on) for it to actually save the change.
