    I recently started a CM Book Club. We will be studying Charlotte’s 20 principles using Brandy Vencel’s new e-book, Start Here. We intend to meet monthly on the first Friday of the month. I know there are some here who’ve stated they don’t have access to a Charlotte Mason community so I would like to invite you to join in. I will be posting monthly blog posts regarding the meetings. Feel free to chime in via the comment section. Come on along, I’d love to further the discussion. Here are some thoughts after our first month’s meeting….

    I’d love to hear feedback. Is anyone else studying Charlotte’s principles?…or have you in the past? If so, what are your thoughts?

    I am looking forward to this and that it isn’t rushed, such as a topic/idea/chapter each friday, but once a month is fantastic 🙂

    Simplemom, you can certainly jump in at any time. We are actually following Brandy Vencel’s Start Here guide that walks you through Charlotte’s 20 Principles. It’s a great study that I recommend!

    We meet locally once a month to discuss our reading, then I typically write a blog post after that. The Sept. 28th post was a result of September’s meeting. We actually met again last night to discuss Principle 13. However because the assigned reading was extremely long, we decided to continue it into next month so I will probably write a shortened post this month that continues into November.
