The thing is no seemed interested at all in conversing. You post an article, I point out a specific thing the article said that was not correct.
No one was open to dialogue.
It was said that Leigh Bortin sees children as machines. Someone explained what she meant. Again, no one is open to saying, “Oh, that’s interesting. It’s good to know what was meant because it sounded really icky.”
What has come across to me is that this is a board where its ok to say non-truths about other approaches and anyone who points out it’s not true will be attacked.
Someone says, “What you said makes me not welcome here” and people say, “I hope you all feel welcome to keep saying those things (that made other CM moms not feel welcome here)” how is that supposed to sound?
I’ve learned a lot here but this is pretty much it for me.
