I’m preparing for my Night at the Museum Co-op class and based on all of your excellent advice, I’m teaching two classes, one for 6-10 and the other for 11-14.  I’m putting together a book list based on selections from All through the Ages, but I’m still looking for pre-made (hopefully FREE) lapbook components and activity pages – coloring pages are fine, fact pages are great, but mini books for lapbooks would be superb… any I can’t find I’ll be making on my own – sigh…

So here’s the ones that I need – (I’ve been up late each night doing internet searches and have found some, but I’m hoping that some of you may just take a peak and point me in the right direction for these others, to save me countless hours of internet searching!)  THANKS!!!  Enrichment activity ideas would also be great – I’d like to send home a list of things that parents can do with their kids at home, if they are inclined – for example – I found a really neat website with directions for building a model of the Wright Brothers’ plane out of styrofoam meat trays!

Smithsonian Museum, White House, National Mall, National Monuments

Wright Brothers, Tuskegee Airmen, Able the Space Monkey

    General Custer, Einstein

Ruby Slippers (Wizard of Oz), Darth Vader, Oscar the Grouch

Ivan the Terrible, Attila the Hun, Al Capone

“Nighthawks”, “American Gothic”, “V-J Day in Times Square”

    Thanks for your help!

    Hi

Go to http://www.currclick.com and find a lot of info for lapbooks. You will have to pay..the ones I saw were from .50-$3! I looked up The Wright Brothers and found lapbook info as well as National Monuments lapbook info! I am sure there are a lot more! This will help some! But it will cost you. Maybe not too much though! Good Luck!

Thanks – I’ll check on that, I’ve been looking for things that are free and in the public domain because most of the time you can’t just make copies for a whole class when you purchase one kit and we don’t have enough in class fees to buy a bunch of different kits for each student.  But I’ll send ’em an email and see if they’ll work with me.

    Thanks again,

    Rebekah
