I need to replace Sign of the Beaver in Module 5 because my son has read it several times already… he is in 6th grade and a fairly strong reader. Any thoughts, my book-loving friends? 🙂

Are you looking for somthing that is specifically Indian related or time period specific? I don’t use the Modules so I need more info.

Hi Rachel,
Yes, similar time period. Doesn’t specifically have to be indian-related. Just a good living book for an 11yo boy from that general time in American history… oh, and he generally doesn’t mind reading books where the main character is a girl, as long as it isn’t too “girlie” if you know what I mean. 🙂

Rachel, just wanted to mention the Treegate series… I had never heard of it before but I’m goign to order the whole set. It looks like a perfect series for a house full of boys like mine. Thank you!
