Ok, I use MUS for math and love it. But I have one son who just can’t seem to get the multiplication facts down. We’ve watched the movie again (and again etc), done flash cards, wrote them & said them aloud many times. I’m lost.
What do I do now? I can’t really go on to the next lesson until we have the 3’s down or do I just go on?

Do you have the skip counting cd? That is of great help to me. Also, do you have flash cards with the answers on them? If you use them like prepared dictation, where they have to see the whole thing, that sometimes helps. Also, if all else fails, I like the book: Times Tales the Fun Way (you can get it at Amazon). It uses pictures to help lock them away in the brain.

Misty – Do you know about the Yahoo support group for MUS? It is excellent. You can post your question there and will likely get back half a dozen responses from some of the most experienced users. If you do a search in Yahoo groups you can find it pretty easily… it’s a moderated group so you’ll have to wait a few hours for your question to be posted, but I’m sure you’ll find it worth the wait.
