need help planning school schedule

    This will be our 3rd year homeschooling but only our 1st doing CM. I have never used a schedule,but I found it to be VERY hard to get going everyday because we had no idea what we were going to do. As a result of my unorganization I don’t feel that my children have learned nearly as much as they should have.How do I go about starting a schedule. I have four children that I will be schooling this next year. Grades 7,6,4,and 1. I expect to be able to skip days now and then for the unexpected outing or what not. I just don’t even know how to start. Someone please help me. I would like to start implimenting the CM style this summer as a gentle intro to it. My children have gone from Public school, to homeschool, to CM style. So lots of changes. Thanks

    Hi Angela,

    I HIGHLY recommend Sonyas “Planning Your Charlotte Mason Education”. This will help you step by step to lay out a plan and implement a daily schedule.

    I second Heather’s post! It is the best resource I’ve ever used for planning and scheduling (and I’ve used plenty!).
