I’m relieved to hear there are others not overjoyed by Frozen. There were so many things that stood out to me as distrubing about it. Most of my friends thought it was fantastic. Honestly, I am still saddened by this. I shake my head thinking – how far have Christians stooped… In the end, I could see the gospel story – which I’m sure Disney did not intend. However, what political adgenda did we have to put up with to get to that.
First, was the lack of parents and the brief encounter we have with them is unhealthy. Yet, that is perfectly ok in the movie.
2nd, I kept asking “How are they protraying men and women?” There really wasn’t anything redeeming here.
3rd, Keep sex out of children’t movies, please! Disney, knew what they were sneaking in there. They aren’t stupid. The Trading Post scene really made it an unfamily friendly movie.
