Need an opinion about a book

I ordered Good Queen Bess by Diane Stanley on Thriftbooks but received something different.  What I got is “The Story of Good Queen Bess” by Alida Sims Malkus published in 1953. It’s longer (177 pages) with only line drawings throughout.

Does anyone know anything about this book?  Is it worth keeping and using instead of the Stanley book?  It reads very much like a “living book.”
