Need a quick tutorial on adding images

    Hey, Doug or Jordan:

    I tried adding an image to a post a few days ago & couldn’t figure it out. Haven’t tried since, but could one of you explain the fields in the insert/edit image dialog box? When you have time, please?

    ok – so I just tested it….

    for Source I gave a URL to an online image

    the image description didn’t seem to show up anywhere

    the image caption showed up (i typed in ‘this is the image caption’ – but it looks the the HTML code isn’t working for it…

    dimensions I left to the default – made a pretty big picture….

     

    I don’t see anywhere to upload an image….

    There is no place to upload an image at this time. You just have to link to one hosted elsewhere. I’m not surprised the caption and description don’t work at this point. Those are kind of generic things in the editor that I don’t think are supported in the forum software.
