Nice! Our nature study is much less planned, generally just waiting for nature to happen upon us. Today for example on our way to drop my 14 year old off at her morning seminary (bible study for teens) at 5:45am she and I saw an opossum and a raccoon, both in the middle of the street and about 20 feet apart. We slowed down to observe them. Then a few minutes ago the younger boys pointed out a small praying mantis on the screen of one window.
We do make at least seasonal trips to the local arboretum and nature center to see what changes. But that’s the extent of planned nature study for us.
We have done more deliberate studies in the past and probably will again in the future, but right now is not that season for us. 🙂
