    My soon-to-be 8 y/o DS really loves science, and I am looking at possibly a nature/science magazine subscription for his birthday. Any tried and true magazines you can recommend?

    Thank you! That is one that I was leaning strongly towards, but having no experience I wasn’t sure. Appreciate the recommendations!

    Another vote for Nature Friend. My kids are 11, 8 (almost 9), 7, and 6 and they all eagerly anticipate it! We get the study guide as well for my 11 year old who thoroughly enjoys the activities.

    Nature Friend is a great magazine.  We get the study guide with it, too.

    We enjoy Ranger Rick quite a bit as well. They too have teacher’s guides etc… to go along with it.
