    So we recently has a subscription to Ranger Rick, and DH and I were not enthused about the evolutionary content. I really like the looks of Nature Friend but it is just so expensive! My kids (7, 5 and 3) love to read, and they love learning about nature. Last night DS7 pulled out an old RR and the kids were so excited that he was reading more about different birds and their characteristics. We have been feeding birds on our deck recently. Anyone love Nature Friend? Convince me!

    It is expensive but SO worth it! We use it for our nature study and the kids are challenged (ages 7 & 8) to draw beautiful animals each month. We never have to preview what they are reading as each page is chock full of Gods beautiful creation!
