You ladies seem to have great ideas for natural living.  I was wondering if anyone had ideas of natural shampoos/conditioners that would work with hard water.  We’ve tried shampoo bars and baking soda/vinegar.  Any other ideas?

I know that Dr. Bronner’s soap is a natural water softener.  It’s not cheap, but a bottle last a really long time.  We use it for hair and body in the shower.

I actually have some already, but never tried it for our hair.  Do you use an apple cider vinegar rinse with it?

potpourri0710- do you have hard water?  I know there can be problems with soap and hard water.

I have used ACV for a rinse before, but really prefer a cream rinse.  But, ACV works great!

I use this recipe but have soft water, don’t know if it would make a difference.

As far as conditioner I am still searching, haven’t found any DIY recipe that work for me so far.
