    Has anyone used a nature book by the name of “Natural Science Through the Seasons: 100 Teaching Units”? I know  this an older book and was used in the Canandian school system for a while, but hasn’t been used for a long time and is now very hard to find. I would really like to find this book or learn a little more about it. If you have any ideas on where I might be able to locate it I would appreciate it.

    I collected the nature calendars from this book (from Ann Voskamp’s posts) and put them on our homeschool blog here:

    Sheri Graham had done this once here but her links no longer seem to work for me!

    Does anyone know where I can find the table of contents for Natural Science through the Seasons? I can’t seem to find it anywhere.

    This book has been republished by Hillside Education in PB and is available on Amazon now. I’ve recently ordered a copy. Looking forward to receiving it and using it with all of my kids.

    Thank you for posting this Amazon link. 

     

    I had been looking for the book a while back, used, and couldn’t find it. (after seeing it on Ann’s blog)  Thrilled to see it reprinted and available on Amazon. Though I still would prefer the older version, because that’s just how I am, I just ordered it!

    Aw man, this sounds so good! Please do keep us updated…maybe all of my other natural science books need another friend on the shelf. 😉

    And perhaps it is somewhat telling, but in the listing of “other books” people shopped for when shopping for this book… amidst a number of books that most people here would consider common homeschooling books… the third book in the row is “Desperate: Hope for the Mom Who Needs to Breathe” — rather telling about us homeschooling moms, eh?

    Sorry, this is not about that exact book, but, this one is free, and arranged by seasons, and chock full of things.  Type lessons for Primary Teachers in the study of Nature, Literature and Art, arranged by Season.

    I hope that helps someone, I’d love to use it but so many of it is foreign to us here.
