    I’m so excited, ladies! Many of you know Shirley Solis from Lifetime Books and Gifts. She has just launched a new resource to help homeschoolers have the opportunity to practice their Spanish one-on-one with a native speaker via Skype.     That’s fabulous!  After having exchange students from all over the world, I’ve seen how worthless traditional language study is.  Those kids would come over here “fluent” in English and couldn’t communicate worth a hoot.  It wasn’t until they were immersed in the language that their communication skills soared.  The same went for our son whom we adopted from China at the age of 6.  Wonder if she’ll be able to arrange something with folks who speak other languages?
