    Sorry for multiple posts, but I think that this is perfect for our discussion. Just wanted to share.

    I found an article on http://www.charlottemasonhelp.com titled “Detailed Narrations and the Summary”. Very helpful.

    I didn’t mean to imply that you used textbooks or anything else – just that it is so hard to unschool ourselves in order to give our children a better experience and education!  

    That said, we all have different children, with different needs, and sometimes we have to use different things to teach the child. That is the key – to really reach the child. So if a textbook along the way helps, then okay.  The child is more important than any one method.

    I very much enjoyed Linda’s articles on narration a few months ago. I will share those with my friends and see if I can help them understand better. Thanks for reminding me of them!
