my spelling is horrible

    I made it through collage and everything; yet I only test at a 3rd grade level speller.  Is there any way CM’s theories can help me and not just my kids?

    If your doing it with them you will learn too.  That is the great thing about homeschooling, we can learn right along with our kids

    Absolutely!

    No doubt that as a result of the seeing and hearing the language that you will read to your children through poetry and great lit.; not too mention the ‘alongside’ learning that you will do with them as you teach them in the technical aspects of Lang. Arts like phonics, grammar, checking thier copywork, and later, enacting dictation, your spelling willl improve beyond your wildest dreams!

    I have enjoyed learning with my children so much. Lately, I’m afraid I’ve become unbearable on clarifying commonly confused words (esp. using Daily Warm-Ups) for my children and myself!
