My Father's World and CMO

    Do any of you who use My Father’s World curriculum use the CMO? I am starting MFW next year and I am wondering if you use the CMO or some other type of planner.

    My second year of MFW I used a planner. I had not found SCM at that point. I think the CMO planner would have been easier than what I did. I bought one at a teacher’s store to pull MFW K and MFW 1 together for a kindergartener and first grader. It was our best year of the years we used MFW so must say it was helpful. The years after that I tried to use Marie’s grids and was never as successful for me. It let me pick and choose as well, which I liked.

    Thank you lovinghomeschool! I have yet to do MFW, so in your opinion would 3 students doing ECC – one with the 7th grade extension- even need a planner?

    Your welcome!

    No, you really wouldn’t need a planner. Marie puts everything on the grid and leaves blank boxes to remind you to do math and English. Everything else is scheduled. The extension for 7th is in a smaller separate grid right below the main grid. These are assignments added onto ECC for the 7th grader.
