Music appreciation

I had to share this with you 🙂

We have just discovered Charlotte Mason approach about 1 month ago. It’s all new to us because, first of all, we are french Acadians and we don’t know about rich culture to much!LOL

Since last month, I didn’t know to much about good litterature, Shakespeare, art study or music study…

Since I have come in contact with the CM way of seeing things, I have felt in love with it :-). I know it will be more easy for our youngest to change the way we do things, but, for the oldests, I am a little bit concerned…

Tonight, I was reading Charlotte Mason companion book. After reading about music study, I went online and found a radio station that played only classical music. I put it very loud and started listening… It was soooo nice… It stired up emotions in me! I went outside to see my husband and childrens that where building a chicken house together and told them: I was just listening to classical music and it is beautiful…

Ten minutes after, our oldest son came in the house and ask me: Mom, can you put the classical music you where listening. I put it on and instantly, he told me: Isn’it lovely? It really stir up emotions dosn’t it?

I was so glad to hear him say that…

Thank you so much for everything you do in helping us know more about this beautiful method of learning! I have so much more to learn…
