    Hi Gals,

Just wondering if anybody has happened to compare the old and new MUS Epsilon books. I just ordered new student books for my 5th grader. I’d prefer to keep my old teachers manual, even though their site recommends buying the new ones, and just download the answer pages. Think there’s that much new that it’s worth it? Thanks! Gina

Since I barely ever use the instructor’s manual (we use the DVD ALL the time) – I can’t imagine that the purchase of a new one would be worth it for our family, especially at this level where I’m still holding my own in math.  If you struggle with the concepts that are being taught then definitely continue to investigate the differences in the teacher’s manuals as maybe they have some new techniques or more in depth to help keep your kiddo on track.

New TM’s are only necessary if you plan on making extensive use of the newer additional pages.

Good point. I rarely use the teachers manual as is!!  I don’t know how much we’ll use the new pages. I planned on doing them…thought they might good practice for future standardized tests. But I suppose I can just wing it for now and only purchase if deemed necessary later. Thanks for the input!! Gina
