Do any of you have the CD Mr. Bach Comes to Call?  http://www.amazon.com/Mr-Bach-Comes-To-Call/dp/B00000212K/ref=pd_bxgy_m_img_y  I know very little of him so I have no idea if this is historically truthful about his life.  Could any of you give insight?

    Thank you!

I think the facts mentioned are correct. Obviously his visiting a girl in modern age isn’t…

It’s a drama, so of course part of it is just for fun. But I believe most of it is accurate. We have the Vox Cd biography of Bach as well. The Vox series is pretty exact on the facts and we love comparing the Vox biographies to others…

Mr Bach versus Vox…almost all the facts were identical… a couple of mentions in “Mr Bach” about his going to jail (unjustly imprisoned by a crabby Prince) that is not mentioned in the Vox CD…so we are not sure if that is actually true. I believe that is the only discrepancy we found.

It is a fun one, you will enjoy it.

He was actually imprisoned for a month, so it is a true detail. We listened to it about 2 weeks ago and totally enjoyed it. Bach is my 12yo favorite composer! 😉
