Hi! I’m moving to the north Dallas area next month and am hoping to get connected with a CM discussion group. I have been meeting montly with a great group of CMers in AR, and I hope to continue that with a new group of great moms!
If you know of any groups, please let me know 🙂

We live in Garland and have never found a group. If you start one, we will come. 🙂 We are part of a wonderful outdoor co-op that meets at the park every week for outdoor classes, but it’s not really a CM-specific group.

There is a yahoo group in Flower Mound: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/Charlotte-Mason-Flower-Mound-TX/
They meet monthly and also have park days, game nights and even a nature study outing at a nearby nature preserve, although the outdoor stuff is on-hold for the summer.
There is CM McKinney on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/groups/362971203772387/
They meet monthly (I think) to discuss a book about homeschooling, CM, education, etc.
Sadly, I haven’t had the pleasure of going to either yet.

I host one just south of DFW, but it is a bit of a drive 🙂
from north Dallas that is…with the crazy metroplex traffic 🙂
