Hi all! I would love to hear from those of you who have read this book. I am a retired homeschool mom so I’m not sure if this book would be something useful to me. However I just finished listening to Karen’s Mother Culture talk and it was wonderful and it made me wonder if I would enjoy the book as well.
I just love Karen Andreola and own almost all of her other books and still enjoy reading some of them from time to time.
So what’s your opinion? Is this a book for all mothers or or just for homeschooling mothers?
I’ve read it. I really enjoyed it and have loaned it out to a young, struggling mother. If you enjoy the chapter about Mother Culture in A Charlotte Mason Companion, then you’ll like the book. And I wouldn’t say it’s just for homeschooling mothers. She has nuggets in there for all of us.
Hi, Melanie! I have enjoyed this book. I skip around reading chapters I’m most interested in at the time. I remember most one chapter on the importance of play time, even for the mothers. I think you would like it, too.
