I love the newest additions, and I especially love the way the page is set up. You just hover over the particular era and the appropriate portfolios “light up.” (Can’t describe them any other way!)
I may be the only one who finds the whimsy in the picture on the Albrecht Durer envelope, but I chuckled at the way it has such inspiration as Adoration of the Trinity….Praying Hands….Christ Among the Doctors….Four Apostles….and….
Thanks, just love Durer and Constable is very close to my heart – I spent a few years working in Constable countryside and I loved it….thanks for these two especially. Linda
Yes, Emily Cottrill is working on new Picture Study Portfolios. She’s working off a huge list of artists that she wants to do, and many requested artists are on the list. We’ll announce when there are more available just as soon as we have them.
I just received our first picture study portfolio…Giotto. I can’t tell you how happy I am with this set! Gorgeous, glossy pictures. Wonderful booklet that goes with it. My husband and I are so impressed, and the price is great.
Thank you so much SCM! I can’t wait to get them all.
Coastal carol, check at calendars.com for old calendars of those artists. They are perfect for picture study. We did O’Keefe with our co-op using a $3.50 calendar. I simply googled for background info on paintings and used a bio for her. Not quite as simple, but easy enough. 🙂
