    Hi!  If you visit http://simplycharlottemason.com/store/product-category/product-history/

you will see various history resources.  SCM puts out six modules spanning history from creation to current day.  Each module is organized to guide all family members through readings of history, geography and Bible study.  There are sample pages that you can look at when you click on one of the modules.  Hope this helps!

Yes, I can see what you mean!  I don’t see the word “module” either, but I know that’s what they’re called!  🙂

I think the term “module” is only used in the curriculum guide. That is how different time periods in history are broken down. If you are looking to select which items you want to purchase from the bookstore, it would be a good idea to look at the curriculum guide first, decide what you need, and then head on over to the bookstore page to shop.

Just to clear up some confusion here, we stopped calling the history studies “modules” when the revised editions of the first three guides were released last year. We’re calling them “studies” or “time periods” now instead. There’s less confusion that way over what a “module” is, and we think those are better terms to describe what they actually are. Smile

Thank you, Jordan! That does help to clarify! I was going to ask one of you guys to help answer this question. I’m wondering if you might consider making the number of each study in the series more obvious, perhaps in the description on the history resource home page. I think I have the order of them down but someone new to the site might have to dig a little to be sure what the order is. 🙂

There should be a graphic at the bottom of each product page for the history guides, showing them in order from left to right. That same graphic is on the step-by-step version of the curriculum guide as well.

    Habit-training alert! Habit-training alert!

(Note to self: stop referring to them as “modules.”)
