The revised Module 2 (Ancient Greece) schedules lessons over the week as Bible/Bible & Geo/Bible/History/History. We do our lessons four days a week, leaving one day fully for nature study and getting outside together.

I’m wondering if anyone has modified this module into four days? My school-age kids are 9 (almost 10) and 7, with an 8- and 4-year old as well who won’t be participating in the module necessarily.

Do you double up a day of Bible? Looking at the readings it seems a bit lengthy to attempt that … unless maybe I did 1/2 in the morning and 1/2 in the afternoon? Could I do something similar with history?

I’d love to hear what has worked for you. Thanks!

We school 4 days per week also. Our Thursdays are at a CM co-op. We’re doing Module 1 this coming year. Then I looked closely, there were only 1-2 individual lessons per week for grades 4-6. I scheduled Family study time 4 days/week right after breakfast. I saved the Geo./History day for a later point on Mondays during my ds9’s individual history time. He won’t have an individual lesson that day so it works perfectly.

You can see what I mean on my curriculum blog post – part three. Look at his weekly checklist. http://Www.learningwithcharlotte.blogspot.com

    Just an idea.

Erin ~ I would do the Bible during Morning Bible Time 3 x a week. Then, I would do the History and Geography later in the day …

Day One ~ Bible in the morning, History later

Day Two ~ Bible in the morning, Geography later

Day Three ~ Bible in the morning, History later

That leaves Day Four for something esle entirely.

    🙂

    Just another option.
