I had thought about the Goggle for maps (and another friend mentioned that to me just today), but we are moving this weekend and going back to dial up internet access. So downloading anything will take time. And then the cost of printing maps (ink is expensive for our printer). I think just having the map book, or some other type of maps would be a better way for us. I’m watching on ebay a set of A Beka maps that I may get. They are world maps.. on one side they are labeled and then the other side are not. I think that would work well also.
For module 1, I am kind of straying from the model of only doing Egypt in term 2, and doing it throughout the entire year. That being the case, I would like to add some more books for my boys to read, or for us to read together. They are 14, 10, and 9. I looked at the bookfinder, but I was hoping that I could get some recomendations from everyone else too.
I know my sister’s boys (13, 10, 6) really enjoyed Henty’s “Cat of Bubastes.” It’s on the list but thought you might like to hear a thumbs up from a CM mom with boys about the same age as yours.
