Hi there. I am doing Module 1. Can anyone recommend a book with similar topics than The Answers Book by Ken Ham that is more geared towards kids ages 7-11 with pictures ect. The Answers Book looks as if it is more for older teens and adults. Can anyone advice me on this?
And also: is it worth buying One Blood, as it is optional? If it is really good I want to read it myself. My kids seem to be too young for it.
Ok, had to look them up. They are optional for grades 10-12, so you wouldn’t attempt them with an elem. student. I have only used the books rec. for my DD’s grade.
Hi I am not doing Module 1. But I have all the Answer Books. They are great! But I would definitely think they are for HS – Adult! Very in depth and some complicated issues! So, no they are not for youngers!
HTH
Edit..BTW, maybe it means Answers For Kids books. They are small and has answers to questions about God and the Bible that kids have asked. ??? We have these too! We love all of AIG materials!
The book I referred to is: The Answers Book by Ken Ham (gr 10-12) and One Blood by Ken Ham(gr 10-12). It is part of the optional resources for Module 1 History.
May be I was not so clear about what I asked. The above 2 books are too advanced for my kids 7-11years. I was looking for something similar to the Answers Book and more on my kids’ level. Something with pictures?
Is One Blood worth buying for myself? It is above my kids level.
Thanks for the advice you 2. I see that the topics( Creation, Fall, Dinosaurs and Noah) of the first 2 books in the Answers for Kids books line up with the first term of Module 1, so this will probably be a good fit.
