    I wondered what all you need to buy for the History module one? Is it only the Ancient Egypt and Her neighbor? Does that cover all of it, besides the book list? Does anyone use the Science? Could you possibly just use the living books for ages 5,8,11 or do I need more? what do you all use? Thanks for all the help!

    I think the Module 1 you are referring to is for History, right??  That module has you purchase what you need or can not find at the library.  I did purchase the Ancient Egypt book, even though I already had the Oxford book.  I already owne the Boy of the Pyramids and borrowed several from a friend.  I did pick some up at used book sales/curriculum swaps/paperbackswap but I can’t say we have used/read all of them (I mean the extras I picked up). What was scheduled has been plenty for us. 

    Science doesn’t have a Module that I am aware of, but you are free to purchase the 106 Days, Outdoor Secrets, etc., or just use living books, Apologia, Nature Study, whatever you want.

    Module 1 is in revision right now and there will be some changes to the books used. We’ve released a list of those changes.

    Thanks for the information. I will see if I can buy any of these at the up coming home school sale in June.
