No apology necessary. I enjoy reading the discussions. I myself had started a side by side table of STOW, CHOW, Vos, and Genesis through Deuteronomy. I personally do not prefer STOW for the content, but I do like the style. I am considering The Story of the Ancient World by Christine Miller instead.
