missing posts?

    I just posted twice on a thread and while they are there when I’m logged in they’re gone when I logged out. What happened?

    Your posts got caught in the spam trap because of the number of links you posted in the first one. Sometimes that happens as posting lots of links is something a spammer might do. I freed your posts so they show for everyone now.

    Okay, I just responded to this thread with a witty remark….and my post has disappeared! That’s what I get for sticking my tongue out at the SCM team! Embarassed

    @morgrace, No need to apologize. Sometimes the software goes a bit overboard in protecting the forum and we step in and fix it. Having more than two links usually triggers it, but there are other things too. It’s no big deal so feel free to post normally and let us know if it happens again.

    @Sue, I’m not sure what happened to your witty post. It wasn’t in the spam trap or anywhere I could find. Is it possible you left the page without saving it or something?
