DebbieParticipantCurious what you use for math during middle school years?
Debbie
TX-MelissaParticipantI am using Life of Fred. But the other option I had considered is Easy Peasy’s line-up for middle school: http://allinonehomeschool.com/individual-courses-of-study/math-grades-5-and-up/
So there are a couple of options for you to consider. Hope that helps. 🙂

TristanParticipantMath U See for my current middle schooler (8th grader) and she’s started a bit of Life of Fred for fun just this year.
MonicaParticipantTeaching Textbooks. Love it.
Laura.boraParticipantAnother one for Teaching Textbooks! I love it AND the kids love it.
AngelinaParticipantAnother family here loving Teaching Textbooks. Since we began this program, ALL stress that used to be related to math (my teaching it, kids “getting it”) has vanished. My kids are grades 6, 5 and 3. All love it, feel empowered using this program as the tutorials are built in and are shown at the very moment the student gets a question wrong. We use an equal emphasis on both the workbook and the computer lesson. HTH.
RobinPParticipantStrayer-Upton. Simple, straight forward, no-nonsense.
Richele BaburinaParticipantWe use Ray’s New Practical Arithmetic for our middle-schooler but I also have to give a big thumbs up to Strayer-Upton.
