    Would anyone have a suggestion as of what brand of Microscope would be good for kids? I do not want to spend too much. Some of the reviews on Amazon are really bad, I do want to be able to see something, digital or not.

    We love our Brock Magiscope and have had it for years. It’s survived well thus far and being carried outside, etc. It will serve our purposes well until high school needs.

    It does sound like a good microscope. I am sceptical about microscopes. It seems that anything under 400x isn’t powerful enough for me. I have always had issues with some of the older microscopes. I wonder how clear are the details? Can you see the fibers in the plant really well?  Is it just the outside of the plant veins that you can see really well? 🙂
