    I had a wonderful time this past weekend being refreshed at the California Homeschool Convention.  It was wonderful to meet and hear Sonya and Catherine Levison.  It was so nice to be reminded of and encouraged in the things that I believe in and try to do, but sometimes get off track (not sure if that made sense, but hopefully you understand). 

    Were any of you there too?

    No…but I wish I could have been. Not only would I have loved to hear Sonya, but my best friend in the entire world lives only about 10mins away from where the Convention was! Sigh. A wee bit jealous here too….

    I met Sonya in April at Mass Homeschooling Convention.  I have been hearing SCM for a period of time but it was my first time meeting her in person.  You are right, sometimes, CM method seems a bit simple, or too simple (sometimes) but she reminded and encouraged me the very basic thing in homeschooling.

    This was my first time ever going to a convention – so I figured I started out well!

    I wish more of you CM-ers lived in my area!  How nice it would be to get together and encourage one another. 

    I am thankful, though, for the virtual community we have here through this forum.
