    Merry Christmas ladies!

I think I’m the only crazy mama thinking about next year’s school plans on Christmas Eve morning. lol.

I’m thinking about using SCM’s last two modules for my daughter’s 10th and 11th grade history studies. My question has to do with the last module. Have any of you used it as is? I am wondering if all of the Bennett books are scheduled or just parts of them? If both books are completely read through, did this amount of reading overwhelm your child? Each book is around 500 pages, if I’m not mistaken. 1000 pages, in addition to all the other books scheduled, seems like an awful lot to me. I may feel differently if I could see how they are scheduled. Maybe I just need to sit down and add up page counts-it may be a lot more doable than it seems at first glance.

I would love to hear your thoughts and experiences!

    Blessings and Merry Christmas!

I’m looking in the guide right now.  It’s spread out quite a bit.  You’ll read America: Last Best Hope Vol 2 chapter 1 in week 4 of term 2, then chapter 2 in week 8, chapter 3 and 4 in week 9, 5 in wk 10. Later in term 3, volumes 2 and 3 are used, again, every few weeks instead of weekly.

Thank you! That gives me a better idea of how it’s scheduled. It doesn’t sound overwhelming at all. 🙂
