They are mostly cosmetic, really, but I am very pleased about including the honors problems in the upper level texts, I’m delighted to have a more durable teacher book as I re-use them for succeeding children, and I will be very happy to have step by step solutions for more problems in the upper level books as I sometimes have to really work to figure out where a child goes wrong in those upper level books! I’m never happy to pay a price increase, but I can’t really begrudge it with all the improvements. It will be easier for me to use, especially for the high school levels. I just hope they have some of the newer materials available when I next need to purchase!
I have mixed feelings. LOL. I like them the way they are fine, although I will admit our pages do fall out of the bindings by the end of the year. I am a little concerned about the hardbound teacher books will not lay flat enough, but I think having all the problems worked out step by step will help. I like having more room for problems in the workbooks, again I am not sure the book will lay flat enough but I think overall they are good changes, and I will continue to use them. I am hoping the cost doesn’t increase too much.
