    Anyone want to share how long it should take to do a math facts sheet? I’m looking for addition/subtraction and multiplication/division. They currently do the drills on math u see but, I’m not convinced they are learning them as thoroughly as I would like…. I say this because for my 6th grader.. It takes too long (at least to me) to work through math problems

    Xtramath.org did wonders for my son at age 9 1/2. He knew the strategies but was slow. This program is free and learns the ones they know vs. need to work on. It took only a few months to master once he understood that he needed to place more importance on getting the correct answer rather than a quick answer…and then he naturally got quicker from practicing. The goal is 3 second recall.
