Has anyone used Knowledge Quests “Map Trek” and the use of their “curriculum integration guides” for map work?

The integration guide for Truthquest looks appealing, since TQ is our main curriculum for history. I also see they offer them for other literature based curriculum as well.

I’d love to hear your thoughts on Map Trek – in comparison to other map programs such as Uncle Josh, etc.

    Thanks & Blessings,

    Heather

I have not used the guides but I do use MapQuest.  I just looked over the guides and they are excellent and free so anyone using Map Quest and the spines they have done so far, or Truthquest would have a great resource.  I would recommend them highly.  Linda

Well, I love MapTrek and Knowledge Quest…but I may be partial since I helped compile some of the guides Wink  MapTrek is lovely.  I love the simplicity of the maps, and my kids can add as much detail as is appropriate for their ages.  The guides in MapTrek also help to have a resonable understanding of what to expect from your child when doing mapwork.

Thanks for sharing your thoughts and experience with MapTrek. I’ve struggled over the years with consistant map work so hoping this may help. God Bless!
