Map Resources for American Revolution?

    Hey y’all,

I’m about to start an American Revolution unit with my 7 year old son, mostly using resources from Truthquest.  We have one “spine” type book, a DK Eyewitness book, a pile of topical living books, Dover coloring books/paper soldiers, and Liberty’s Kids (yay!).  He does really well listening to read-alouds while coloring.

But I am wondering if we need a map resource to sort of pull it all together.  We do have a dry erase US map on our wall which we use/refer to, but I am wondering if y’all know of or recommend a specific Am. Rev. map resource or maybe package of notebooking resources.

Or, if you think it’s not necessary with a 7 year old, I’m all ears!  He does not actually label maps himself right now–his handwriting is pretty big at this stage, after all.  🙂

    Thanks!

You know best re his age and capabilities. The resource I use for historical maps is a book cd combo combo Map Trek.
