I am drawn again and again to these for our girls and am wondering if anyone has any experience with these cd’s? They love, love, love classical music and I am thinking this might be a fun thing to do to “shake up” our composer study LOL! We’ve used all of the Wheeler cd’s and books, and a few of the Venezia books as well. My girls are thirsty for more!! 🙂 I am not planning to use the educational recommendations as set in stone, but there are a few ideas that might be really neat to try. The girls are ages 6 and 9, if that helps 🙂 Any suggestions are welcome! Thank you!!

The Story of Swan Lake
The Sorcerer’s Apprentice
The Soldier’s Tale
Carnival of the Animals
The last 3 are the newest to us, we’re listening to Carnival of the Animals now. My kids all enjoy it, but my boys especially seem to find the animal aspect fascinating.
I love that each CD offers the track of music with the story and then it has one for the kids to listen to it without the story once they are familiar with it.

Great, thanks for sharing, Tristan! I was thinking of starting with The Story of Swan Lake and the Soldier’s Tale, now I am twice as excited to order! Have a wonderful Easter weekend!

These sound like so much fun! But I’m trying to stop buying so many “extras” or we will never get it all finished before college! Lol
