I am looking for a copy of Pharaoh’s Boat by David Weitzman. There are not many copies available on Amazon right now (for less than $30-$40). Is that a good price for this book? Does someone have a copy sitting on their shelf they no longer need?
Thanks,

It is a story of how they found the boats in the area around a tomb and reconstructed them. It was really a neat story, but you could also probably look up some of the details and photos online and save yourself that money. It may not be something that you would necessarily re-read a lot.
Look on YouTube using the phrase “Pharoah’s Boat.” There are a lot of resources that pop up that can be used in place of the book if necessary. There are several that look totally interesting to me and I’ve already read the book! Here is another link:
It is a longer picture book, I’d say upper elementary/middle school audience. So if you have younger ones, it might be a bit much for them.
Personally, I’d find a substitution for it. It wasn’t a favorite of my DC. I believe we read it over two days. I imagine you could find another great living picture book at your library or Amazon for a fraction of the cost…or just skip those two lessons.
