viljoenavenue MemberDo any of you moms know of any great “LIVING” History books for kindergarten “age 4-5”, not text books/fact books.
nerakr ParticipantOx Cart Man by Donald Hall
The Little House by Virginia Lee Burton
viljoenavenue MemberThank you!
Wings2fly ParticipantPapa and the Pioneer Quilt and many Little House on the Prairie books are in picture book format at many libraries. Any particular history period you are looking for? There are many picture books on George Washington at the library as well.
viljoenavenue MemberThank you ladies for all your suggestions! Keep me updated 🙂
viljoenavenue MemberNo history period planned, just want to familiarize my daughter with history and great people…living books. I purchased http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/1893103269

which I hear are great living books on presidents….great people.
April ParticipantI was going to suggest the Beautiful Feet Early American Books for primary level. That is what I am reading through for my K and preK children. I see your links are to a few of them! Maybe this will help to find a few more…

I also purchased One Nation off of amazon that I am really excited about reading. It really covers a TON of information about our country!
viljoenavenue MemberThank you so much Aprilsblessings! Love the links you sent 🙂
erin.kate ParticipantI also wanted to chime in with the BF Books Early Amer History Lit Pack. My K’er loves it!
