Do any of you moms know of any great “LIVING” History books for kindergarten “age 4-5”, not text books/fact books.
Papa and the Pioneer Quilt and many Little House on the Prairie books are in picture book format at many libraries. Any particular history period you are looking for? There are many picture books on George Washington at the library as well.

I was going to suggest the Beautiful Feet Early American Books for primary level. That is what I am reading through for my K and preK children. I see your links are to a few of them! Maybe this will help to find a few more…
