Living books with Apologia Physical Science

    So my son has been asking to use Apologia Physical Science book for his science. He is a good reader and is interested in scientists. Can anyone recommend some living books that he can read while studying the Physical Science course?

    There is a link with suggestions from scm for 8th grade physical science. My ds will be reading 2-3 of them for the year.
