My daughter, age 6, was asking about such things. Thank you very much for any help! That looks like a good one. Anyone have any on insects? Gracias! November 21, 2011 at 5:48 pm chocodogParticipantWe have these strange things up here called snow fleas. They jump in the snow. We also have a thing that looks like a spider. We have some strange bugs up North. November 21, 2011 at 5:55 pm Wings2flyParticipantWhat about the Christian Liberty Press Nature Readers? I think there may be some stories that include winter, but it would be mixed. For fun, Stranger in the Woods book or dvd. We have the dvd. The animals find a stranger (snowman) in the woods. This is part of the “Books for Young Explorers, National Geographic Society.” Lots of great photos. There are some insect stories on here, but I have not read them:http://oldfashionededucation.com/science.htmViewing 7 posts - 1 through 7 (of 7 total)The topic ‘living books on hibernating insects and animals’ is closed to new replies.
